The Alternative to Skydiving

I mentioned, some time back, that I was considering celebrating my 65th birthday by going skydiving.  Well, it didn't quite work out that way.  Oh, I had an adventure, all right:  my very own TURP procedure.  In a word, wheee.  Not at all the same thing.  But I haven't given up the skydiving idea yet, just postponed it until at least things have sort of healed; then we'll see.

I hope you recover quickly and then go throw yourself out of a plane! (Gosh, that doesn't sound quite right, does it?)

Thanks to my older brother, I started flying in light aircraft when I was around 13. I've gone gliding a bit and even did aerobatics in an open cockpit biplane. But, like my brother, I have no intention of ever jumping out of plane unless I have to. Do the aerobatics instead. Lots of fun.
